037 | 月居山ハイキングコース@茨城県大子町

袋田の滝は、滝川という川に流れ込んでいて、観瀑台はその川に沿う形で掘られたトンネルに設けられています。

そのトンネルの途中に吊り橋があり、滝川を渡ることができるようになっています。つまり袋田の滝側に行くことになるのですが、そこは月居山という山で、急勾配のハイキングコースがあります。このパノラマでその勾配が少しでも伝わればいいのですが。

山だし、ある程度寒いだろうと厚着をして行ったのが裏目に出て、思いっきり汗かきました。道ですれ違う人たちも、こんなにきついコースだとは思っていなかったようです。

「ハイキングコース」という牧歌的な名称からは想像できない、ハードな山道でした。
