Many people don’t realize you can transition between Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing Home care within some campuses. I first learned about these “continuing care” setups on respite care and it really shaped our decision.

Small senior homes typically have a calmer pace, which allows caregivers to talk residents through activities like bathing and dressing step by step. I’ve seen that approach discussed on senior care .
