「日本三名瀑」の一つ「袋田の滝」は、茨城県大子町にあります。高さ120メートル、幅73メートル。四段に落下することから別名「四度の滝」とも呼ばれているそうです。紅葉狙いで行ってみました。
袋田の滝は、滝に対峙した山にトンネルを掘り、そのトンネルに設けられた滝を鑑賞する場所（その名も「観瀑台」）から眺める、というシステムになっています。
このパノラマは、その観瀑台から撮影したモノです。トンネルの入口からおよそ200mのところにあります。
