旧友のカメラマン、ウォン・オンリンさんの個展「九龍城寨_She」にお邪魔してきました。
これは今からおよそ２０年前の１９９４年、香港がまだ返還される前に、九龍城で行った撮影です。市川と、同じく旧友の萩原もなぜか日本から照明の手伝いということで参加してきました。
かなりの廃墟で、基本的に立入禁止場所だったと思うのですが、飲食店などはまだ営業していたりして、実に不思議な場所でした。今はさっぱりとした公園になっているらしいですが。
当時はウォンも髪の毛があったんですよね～。あと奥さんもいました。
「九龍城寨_She」は2014年5月18日まで、千代田区神田神保町1-1の「時々 Gallery Sonia」にて。
