189-193 | PLANETARIUM Starry Cafe

羽田空港の国際線ターミナルにはStarry Cafeという小さなプラネタリウムがあります。
私も最近まで知らなかったのですが、5FのCOOL ZONEというスペースの一番奥にPRONTOという喫茶店と一緒に営業しています。

午後１時半から５時半までがプラネタリウムとしての営業で、季節ごとに作られた15分の番組を500円で、二種類交互に投影しています。
それ以外の時間はドームスクリーンを利用して、全天周映像を流しています。

朝８時から午後１時半まで、PRONTOのメニューを注文すれば、だれでもドームスクリーン内に好きなだけ居る事が出来るのです。

午後８時からはバータイム。チャージ料が注文と別に500円かかりますが、今度はプラネタリウムと全周映像を順番に流していますので、どちらも好きなだけ観る事が出来ます。

今回のパノラマは、全周映像投影時の様子です。
短いプログラムばかりですが、同じ作品を繰り返すことなく2時間は観ていられます。

四月からStarry Cafeで上映する為に作られた『旅するぬいぐるみ』というアニメーション作品が始まりました。

可愛らしいぬいぐるみが文字通り旅をするアニメーションですが、ドームシアターならではの視点で作成されています。
円周に沿ってぐるりとした座席の為、シーンに依ってはスクリーンを半分に分けて、見えにくいシーンを無くそうという配慮と苦労が感じられます。

YS-11の前でAKB48が歌う作品も、まだ上映されています。

どちらもStarry Cafeでしか観られない作品ですので、是非ご覧になってみて下さい。

Bookmark added with a small mental note that this is a site to keep, and a look at everforestcollective reinforced the keep status, the verb keep rather than visit captures something about how I think about this kind of site and it is a higher tier of relationship than I have with most places online today.

Really appreciate the lack of pop ups, modals, cookie banners stacking on top of each other, and a quick visit to evermaplecrafts confirmed the same clean approach across the rest of the site, technical decisions about user experience are part of what makes content actually pleasant to engage with for sure.

Walked away in a slightly better mood than when I started reading, that says something about the writing, and a stop at portcanopy kept that going, content that leaves you feeling more capable rather than overwhelmed is the kind I keep coming back to again and again over the years and across many topics.

Generally I bookmark sparingly to avoid building up a bookmark graveyard but this one earned a permanent slot, and a stop at urbanwearzone extended that permanence designation, the few sites I keep permanent bookmarks for are sites I expect to use repeatedly and this one has clearly cleared that expectation bar today.

If I were grading sites on this topic this one would receive high marks, and a stop at puremountaincorner continued earning those high marks, the informal grading I do mentally for content sources is something I take seriously even though it is informal and this site has been receiving consistent high marks across multiple sessions today.

A small thing but the line spacing and font choices made reading this physically pleasant, and a look at flarequill maintained the same careful design, technical choices about typography are part of what makes online reading actually comfortable and this site has clearly invested in the design layer alongside the content layer carefully.
